About the Editor
As an award-winning author with an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction, who studied under New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors such as Maria V Snyder, Priscilla Oliveras, Melissa Marr, Lee McClain and many others, and a former fiction editor at The Parliament House Press, I bring both creative insight and industry experience to every project. I specialize in developmental editing, detailed line editing, and query and submission material critiques for fiction writers preparing their work for publication. Query Critique
My query letter critiques focus on refining the structure and clarity of your pitch to ensure it captures a literary agent’s attention. I assess the marketability of your hook, genre positioning in the current market, help clarify the GMC (goal, motivation, and conflict) at the heart of your manuscript, so your query stands out in the slush pile. The goal is a polished, compelling query that effectively showcases your story, aligns with industry expectations, and illustrates the commercial marketability of the project.
